Terms of Service
Last updated: September 22, 2026
OfficerTrack is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NYPD or the City of New York.
1. Who we are
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and irtaza hassan ("OfficerTrack", "we", "us"), the seller and operator of the OfficerTrack application (the "Service"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
OfficerTrack is a private, personal finance and time-management tool for law-enforcement officers. It lets you record and track your own overtime, paid details, paychecks, work hours and leave balances, and view related analytics and projections. OfficerTrack is a personal record-keeping tool only: it is not an official payroll system, does not determine what you are paid, and must not be used to store confidential police operational, case or investigative information.
Pay figures shown by the Service are estimates based on the information you enter. They are for your personal planning only and are not financial, tax or legal advice.
3. Your account
- You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to create an account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (including your email login and any device PIN you set) confidential, and for all activity under your account.
- You may not share, sell or transfer your account to another person.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to commit fraud or send spam.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual-property or privacy rights.
- Interfere with the Service's security or operation, including introducing malware, probing or scanning for vulnerabilities, or scraping the Service.
- Reverse engineer the Service, circumvent technical or plan limits, or resell or redistribute access to it.
- Store or process confidential police operational information — such as case, arrest, investigative or deployment details — in the Service.
5. Intellectual property and licence
We own the Service and all of its intellectual property, including the software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you select, for your personal use. Your records remain yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the Service to you.
6. Plans, payments and refunds
Some features require a paid plan. Paid plans are billed as a monthly or annual subscription, as shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.
7. Service level
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change over time, and we may suspend the Service for maintenance or events beyond our reasonable control.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings. When your account is deleted, your personal records are removed; you are responsible for exporting anything you wish to keep beforehand.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages — including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill — and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Indemnity and general terms
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you submit, your unlawful use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the current version here with its date. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the new Terms. Questions? Contact us through the support link in the app or at support@officertrack.app.
